The SMBSA, with WRWEO, BLT Rails to Trails, the Safety-Minded ATV Club, and the FBWHT, is a member of the Chebucto Wilderness Steering Committee.    Collectively we've been working with our sister organizations for years to have the Crown Land in interior of the Chebucto Peninsula declared a Wilderness Area.  Things are going very well.
